  Who would you like to hear of leaving the Jehovah's Witnesses ?

  i'll start off with this one:.

  some years ago when i was formulating my exit, i employed for some time an ms brother from another congregation.. i'd had a couple of young "worldly" lads work for me but they proved unreliable as they used drugs or alchohol and consequently would'nt arrive at work and such like.. so when i was was contacted by this brother and spoke to him and heard he'd worked at the australian bethel for some time on construction and wanted an opportunity to learn the trade of bricklaying ,i thought ,"great someone to finally trust and be reliable".

  he was in his 40's at the time and he worked like a trojan ,was honest ,really likeable and interesting ,could play the classical guitar beautifully ,had a beautiful family.

  No 'Tight Pants' policy is now official - classed as 'disturbing'

  in short:- tight pants is no longer just a am3 hang up (or is that a hang up on the well hung?

  )- brothers who have effeminate body language are flagged up- as are sisters with 'masculine' hair styles or dress- such dress is 'disturbing to the congregation'- the above must heed the (repeated) counsel from the elders...or they get stripped of the right to share on the ministry- however...this will not be revealed (announced) to the congregation.

  If I can recall, this isn't the first time the Borg has made mention of this ''tight pants'' issue. I can recall early-mid 1990's circuit assemblies CO's browbeating about tight-fitting pants. Weird.

  obey us, obey us even when it seems strange, obeying our man made hierarchy equates to obeying god, sacrifice your own interests, work for us, don't be independent, put your own interests aside, obey some more, preach for us, build for us, enjoy it, obey some more, forgive when we are jerks to you and mistreat you, accept your changed assignment even if it seems cruel and doesn't make sense, don't complain if we move you (eg.

  ) because you might have to move in the new world, remember you are being trained to obey, remember to put your own interests aside, that's the way we are designed to live - it will only make you happy!

  Is Lying a Disfellowshipping offence?

  Did an EX-JW wake you up to TTATT or did you put the effort to wake up yourself?

  how many of us were woken up by someone holding a sign and yelling, what happened to 1975.

  how many of us were coerced to investigate the wt because some ex-jw pulled up a bunch of old watchtowers magazines and told us to read the false predictions?.

  That lack of love thing is just priceless. That was one of the factors that got me thinking too. It's amazing how your phone only rings when they want something like a field service report. That's something that always bugged me big time.

  wonderful conversation and opportunity to reminisce about our wts experiences and our plans for the future.

  Yeah, I also remember watching a video of Joe and Barb Anderson each giving a testimony at ''family night'' at Bethel on some evening back in 1991. Watching that video of them made me realize they were ultra-JW's back then and to what they are now, that video of them and testimony is really very poignant.

  1995 Generation Teaching was a great tipping point for me too. I was never, ever the same in the ''truth'' again. ''Badly fractured'', so to speak.
